Emotions and Expressions 

is a collection of poems, short essays and profound one-liners written at various points in fife, both lows and highs. Some are on human relationships, society and spirituality but many are on nature, birds, butterflies, flowers, seeds, and trees —anything that touched the author's heart. Her encounters with nature as a biologist, birdwatcher and nature photographer are beautifully presented. The wisdom of life and the wonders of Nature are weaved into words, and supplemented with freehand drawings. 

About the Author

Dr. V. A Manga, M.Sc., Ph.D., is retired Associate Professor, Bhavan's New Science College, Hyderabad (Telangana State), M.Sc., (Csmania University), Ph.D., (Hyderabad Central University), Postdoctoral research (Tulane University, New Orleans, USA), recipient of A.P. Akademi of Sciences 'Young Scientist' award and Govemment of Andhra Pradesh State 'Best Teacher' award.

 Bird photography is her passion. She is author of two books on birds, 'Birds of Greater Hyderabad, birdwatchers' delight' (2019) and One Tree, many Birds, the beautiful relationship between silent trees and chirpy birds' (2017).
